The Peak Light the Night Walk at Sahauro Ranch Park in Glendale

Heather here...I know, I know...I'm lazy and yes, it takes me a week to download my photos! Here are my photos from last Friday night's Light the Night Walk in Sahauro Ranch Park. It was pretty big especially when you take into consideration this was Glendale's first LTN. Thanks for the big showing, Glendale Peakerheads!

Light the Night was pretty special for me because my best friend April, who you see in the photos, is a three-year leukemia survivor. It is because of these walks and all the fundraising activities of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society that patients like April get to receive the help they need, so THANK YOU for your help.

Here's Mary being the MC:

Here are some members of the Peak Team!

Have you seen this yet?

It’s all over the Internet and it’s a video from Dove – you know, the soap maker? Well, Dove is apparently trying to expose the evils of Photoshop in fashion with self-esteem as the company’s self-professed cause.

Dove is trying to make us feel better about ourselves.

They’ve even got a self-esteem fund going. How does one sign up for such funds, we wonder? We think we’re ugly; write us a check, Dove! Will that work?

It’s all just shameless advertising. Speaking of…Listening to the Peak makes you pretty. Just look at us…OK, to be honest, we’re great for your self-esteem. Anytime you want to feel better about yourself, come stand next to us and have your photo taken!

Just in time for Friday the 13th!

It's the battle of the Peak album covers!

Here's what happens when good album covers misbehave on Friday the 13th. Our music library is out of control today!
